What is the Philippine EV Community?

The Philippine EV Community, or PEVC, is a vibrant collective of individuals, organizations, and advocates united by a shared passion for sustainable mobility. We are dedicated to promoting the adoption and growth of electric vehicles (EVs) in the Philippines, recognizing their vital role in creating cleaner cities, reducing carbon emissions, and improving public health. Our community believes that EVs are more than just vehicles; they are a step toward a greener, more sustainable future for our country.

As the largest EV network in the Philippines, we provide a platform for knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and advocacy, supporting owners, enthusiasts, and those exploring the EV journey. From providing resources on the latest EV models and charging infrastructure to facilitating discussions on government policies and industry developments, we aim to empower Filipinos to make informed choices about cleaner transportation. Together, we are not just driving cars; we are driving change—toward a cleaner, brighter, and more sustainable Philippines.

How did PEVC start?

PEVC was founded by Enrique Severino who is passionate about community buildups, electric vehicle, and solar energy. Transformed as a group of enthusiasts who believe that everyone goes through a transition to EVs, whether they are Battery Electric Vehicles, Hybrid Electric Vehicles and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles. PEVC contributors are EV owners and enthusiasts from all walks of life, encompassing everything from BEVs to Plug-in Hybrid EVs. Our community is dedicated to helping and sharing knowledge with potential EV owners and current owners alike. This is a safe space to discuss and share insights, concerns, and opinions regarding electrified mobility, public transportation, infrastructure, clean energy, solar power, and renewable energies.

We try to serve as a platform for knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and support for BEV, PHEV, Hybrids and All Electric Vehicles in general for owners and enthusiasts. We aim to provide information about the latest EV models, charging options, and government policies. We also encourage open discussions and the exchange of ideas on how to further promote and develop the EV industry in the Philippines.Whether you are a current EV owner, considering making the switch to an electric vehicle, or simply interested in the EV movement, we welcome you to join our community. Together, we can drive change towards a greener and sustainable future.
